Community Services has a long history of assisting village residents with many issues.  The Community Service Office functions in cooperation with local organizations to address the human and social service needs of the community. Community Service receives over 2,000 inquiries a year regarding many issues including crisis intervention, affordable housing, financial assistance, food pantry usage, public benefits, utility assistance programs, senior services, child care, substance abuse treatment, and youth employment.   Community Services also sponsors and participates in programming to assist residents and their families.

In addition, the Community Service Board recognizes individuals of the Elk Grove community who volunteer their time, talents, and efforts to benefiting society. If you know someone worthy of recognition for their outstanding volunteer service, please nominate them on the Community Spirit form.
